Warrior Trails Booking terms and conditions
Thank you for your interest in booking a safari with Warrior Trails. A deposit of 30% of the tour cost is required at the time of booking, with the balance due not later than 90 days before commencement of the safari tour. Payment in full is required where bookings are made less than 30 days before the tour begins.
Notwithstanding any prior confirmation of arrangements, the right is reserved not to execute tours if payment has not been received in accordance with the foregoing. A 50% deposit is required if booking 10 weeks before an intended departure, with the balance to be settled 30 days prior to commencement of the tour.
Upon receipt of the required deposit, and subject to availability, we will reserve your place on your selected safari. In the event that any accommodation is not available, we will substitute a comparable property or adjust the itinerary, if necessary, without compromising the integrity of the overall safari experience, as determined in our reasonable discretion.
Cancellations are only effective upon Warrior Trails’ receipt of written notification, signed by the guest. In the event of cancellations received by Warrior Trails 90 days or more prior to departure, the deposit will be refunded less the cost of expenses incurred. Cancellations received 89-61 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation penalty of 50% of the total trip price.
Cancellations received 60 days or less prior to departure are subject to a cancellation penalty of 100% of the total trip price. No trip refund is available should you fail to arrive for your safari or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion. There will be no refunds from Warrior Trails for any unused portions of your safari. IT IS THEREFORE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SECURE TRIP AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
Using ONLY an @warriortrails.com email address, Warrior Trails will provide you with the banking information required to send your wire transfer to our bank account in Tanzania.
Upon confirmation of your safari, we will send you an invoice with our bank details along with wire transfer instructions for Warrior Trails accounts with KCB Bank or NIC Bank in Tanzania, Arusha Branch. We do not use personal accounts, Western Union or Money Gram for payments.
Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules, routes, lodges and camps occasionally may change while on safari as dictated by changing conditions. Such conditions may be caused by seasonal rainfall on bush tracks, airfields and in game areas, by game migrations from one region to another, lodge and camp overbookings, airline delays and schedule changes or other booking problems or the like.
Warrior Trails is not responsible for such external events or resulting itinerary changes. If a guest initiates any change to the safari itinerary, including accommodations, flights, services, etc., the guest is responsible for all expenses arising from that change. These additional expenses are the responsibility of the guest to pay for directly in Tanzania or interim destinations as applicable.
It is a fundamental condition of booking that you are solely responsible to ensure that you carry the appropriate comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover yourself as well as any dependents and travelling companions for the duration of your trip to Africa.
Warrior Trails cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of baggage or personal belongings, nor for personal injury, accident, or illness. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance covering tour cancellation and interruption, lost or damaged baggage, medical etc. Baggage is at owners risk throughout the safari unless insured.
Every participant must be in a possession of a current passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure and should have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigration stamps. Obtaining a passport and travel visa is the responsibility of each participant.
Health regulations for some countries may require proof of inoculation and vaccination certificate which should be in your possession throughout your trip. Warrior Trails strongly recommends that you consult with your personal physician. You may also visit CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) website at www.cdc.gov.
Warrior Trails Limited, its employees, share holders, officials, directors, successors, agents and all affiliates (herein referred to as Warrior Trails) acts only in the capacity as an agent for hotels, safari lodges, tented camps, restaurants, airlines, sightseeing and other pertinent, and does not own any of those and in no way shall be held liable in the event of failure by any person or company to render services to the participants, nor shall they be held liable for any negligent or willful act by any such person or company.
Warrior Trails cannot be held responsible for any additional cost incurred by participants, apart from what is quoted in the itinerary, due to missed, canceled or delayed flight, omissions beyond its control. All such expenses will have to be borne by the participants.
Warrior Trails shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, without limitation to loss, injury, accident, damage, attack by animals, sickness, lack of appropriate medical facilities, weather, acts of God, computer problems, terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, theft or other criminal acts, death in connection with accommodation, transport, any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrument owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers or any other service beyond its control including but not limited to negligence or breach of contract of any third party.
Warrior Trails assumes no responsibly for and cannot be held liable for any of the above. Warrior Trails and its agents will act to their best to assist the participant in case of any danger or where help is needed. Warrior Trails contract with the participants shall always be governed by the laws of the country in which the tour is operating.
Warrior Trails reserves the rights to subcontract any, all or part of the services. Both parties reserve the right to decline to accept any participant as the member of the tour, or to require any member to withdraw from the tour at any time, when such action is determined by an authorized representative of the company at that particular time to be in the interests of the health, safety and general welfare of the tour group or of the individual participant. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the participant at all times.
Warrior Trails reserves the right to take photographs and videos during the tour for use in promotional materials. Any participant who prefers that his/her image not to be used for marketing purposes are asked to make their request known in writing prior to departure.
