DAY 1

NAIROBI

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our safari representative and transferred to The Boma Hotel for an overnight stay on B&B basis.

DAY 2

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart by road to Amboseli National Park, arriving at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli. Set at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

DAY 3

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast at the lodge, depart for a morning game drive. Lunch will be served at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

DAY 4

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the Kenya/Tanzania boundary at Namanga town where you will be assisted to clear customs and immigration. Proceed by road to Arusha, Tanzania for lunch. Proceed by road to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION CRATER

Breakfast will be served at the lodge, followed by the decent into the crater for a game drive. Optional picnic lunch in the crater, or return to the lodge for lunch. The crater is approximately 20kms across, and 600 meters deep. Although thought of as “a natural” several wildlife species live there, including wildebeest, zebras, hyenas and lions. Return to the lodge for an afternoon of leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at the lodge, depart with picnic lunches to Serengeti National Park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge. Arrive at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge in the evening with game viewing en-route. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

DAY 7

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast will be served at the lodge followed by a morning game drive. The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. It is a World Heritage Site and was recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelles. However, even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Return to the lodge for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

DAY 8

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Following breakfast, you will be transferred by road to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Isibania town. Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunches en route. Proceed by road to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Option B: Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the Seronera (Serengeti) airstrip to connect with the morning flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve via Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, and Wilson Airport in Nairobi.

Enjoy a game drive to Kichwa Tembo Camp in the Masai Mara prior to dinner and overnight.

DAY 9

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve following breakfast at the camp. An optional early morning balloon ride over the Masai Mara plains followed by champagne breakfast in the bush can be arranged. All meals and overnight stay at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.

DAY 10

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Enjoy another full day exploring the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Search for the prides of lions or the wildebeest migration crossing the famous Mara River depending on the season of your travel, or spend a relaxed day at the camp which is stylishly designed to provide the ideal safari experience where comfort, luxury and outstanding personal service combine naturally with the beautiful wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay at Kichwa Tembo Camp.

DAY 11
